• Understand sewing terms
• Follow sewing instructions to create projects
• Sew straight and curved seams
• Hand sew a seam
• Cut out simple pattern
• Proper needles and stitch settings
• Basic and limited fancy stitches
• Hems
• Drawstring/elastic insertion
• Hand sewing/finishing

Projects:  

1. Pillow Case
2. Tote/Zipper Bag
3. Projects TBD by teacher and student skills

Basic Sewing for Beginners. Fabric supplies provided by student. All sewing equipment provided. Project and supply list will be sent upon registration.
