ADVENTURES IN SEWING for Home Schoolers

$150 for 5 weekly sessions @ 2hr ea

Students will learn:
- Basic machine operation and troubleshooting
- What tools are essential for sewing
- About using the basics of pressing temperatures on different fabrics and how to iron safely
- Machine stitch settings and what they’re typically used for (straight, zigzag, reverse, lock stitch, and more)
- How to sew regular and French seams; how to sew, straight and curved lines
- How to insert zippers, elastic waistbands, and using interfacing
Our November-December session will focus on creating fun holiday projects.
