Named after Amelia Earhart, the Earhart Trio was founded in 2024 by pianist Kumiko Uyeda, violinist Kate Stenberg, and cellist Mary Artmann. The trio was created out of a desire to perform chamber music that advocates the nurturing of the earth’s environment while maintaining the spirit and love of traditional chamber music. The trio is dedicated to bringing diverse, exciting, and thoughtful music to audiences and enjoy performing both lesser-known works as well as beloved masterpieces of the repertoire. Living and working around the SF Bay Area, the illustrious members of the group have rich and varied background in performing and teaching.
